Amala - Meaning: One who is pure (Sanskrit). 925 Sterling silver handcrafted Egyptian Eye of Horus and Eye of Ra large hoop earrings with silver beading. 
 
The Eye of Horus and Ra measures approximately: 30mm x 28mm ( 1.18" x 1.10"). The total height of the earrings including the 50mm hoops is approximately: 8cm (3.14").
 
Eye of Horus (Left Eye) symbolism: The Moon God, Feminine / Yin Energy. A symbol of healing powers and protection. Explores human nature, emotions, sexual energy, intuition and magick.
 
Eye of Ra (Right Eye) symbolism: The Sun God, Masculine / Yang Energy. A symbol of Good luck and creative action. Explores reason, mathematics, logic, science and language.
 
Overall they are an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, royal power, and good health. Both eyes belong to the Falcon Horus, after loosing one eye the God Thoth replaced one, but its unsure whether it was the left or the right eye, however, the eye of Horus is also known as the eye of Thoth. 
 
 

  • Production Times / Info

    All items are handmade by Molax Chopa, and have different production times. As a guide, please allow 3-5 days for gemstone jewellery and 8-10 business days for handcrafted silver items. 

    During peak seasons (as orders are being processed by a single person) or whether an item requires a hallmark thats not already in stock, production times can be extended. This could be upto 3 weeks in worse case scenarios.  Please contact or leave a note at checkout if you need a rush order and I will do my best.
